Time Is Flying By

Time is flying by!  I know that it's been a little while since my last post.  I feel like I am on the perpetual roller coaster of work, playtime, bath, feed, wash bottles and repeat.  I'm finding that most nights I barely have time to enjoy a cup of tea as I'm getting ready for the next day and doing the same thing over again.  Needless to say we are still trying to find our groove.
My immune system is also trying to adjust.  Between lack of sleep and lots of exposure to germs, I already had to take my first sick day last week as I had all symptoms pointing to the flu.
Mateus has been fortunate to spend time with both sets of grandparents over the last two weekends.  He had his first museum trip to the Heinz History Center and had his first experience with finger painting at daycare.  (It was actually "foot painting" for the Valentine's Day card he made us :-)  Here are a few pictures from the past few weeks...
                                                                     Happy Boy!
He's still not sure about the whole sitting up thing.
                                                          I couldn't resist this onesie :-)

3 months old

Our little man is 3 months old!  I recently was organizing pictures of Mateus from birth until present and am amazed at how much he has changed.  He now has much more control over his head and neck and tries to sit up whenever given the opportunity.  He loves singing and always smiles when hearing the "Itsy Bitsy Spider."  Mateus seemed to easily transition to the daycare environment this past week.  He actually did better with the transition than Mom did :-)  His red hair has made him quite popular with all those who see him there :-)
We struggled some this week with sleep...Mateus and I saw the hours of 5 and 5:30 as our regular wake-up time.  Then Saturday comes and the little stinker sleeps until almost 8!  I know it will take some time to find our groove....hoping it comes sooner rather than later before I turn into a complete walking zombie!  I came home after 2 days back to work and told Joe that I felt as tired as I did during the beginning of my pregnancy.  Below is a picture of Mateus realizing by Thursday that maybe 5:30 is a little too early to rise....
